I haven't finished a book in two days in a long time. In fact, for about three years now, I haven't finished the books I'm reading at all unless I really like them. The less they interest me, the less I read them, and for me, separation doesn't make the heart grow fonder.
First of all, I just want to say this: Reading is magical.
This is the book I read in two days: The Squire's Quest.
And here's the cover: >
The only thing left to say is: It's the ninth book. I have in my room the tenth, I've read all of the previous books in the series and I suggest you do to.
Now I'll tell you a little story: The only forward is that book eight is called "The Quest of the Fair Unknown."
So, when I found this book, I was previously unaware that #8 wasn't the last book in the series, but I also wasn't aware that The Quest of the Fair Unknown was #8, it could have been #9. I was also in a library. So I walk down an isle and see a book very similar to this called:
"The Legend of the King" which looked like the second book cover:
I was like– in a library, mind– "Dude! There's another Gerald Morris book! It's so epic looking!"
Then, a little later, I saw #9, and I was like–still in a library: Awesome! There's TWO!!!!"
And that is my story.
See you next week, sorry this was off schedule.
